This course introduces the student to the theoretical, framework, and outcomes of the nursing program. The student learns about the history of nursing, professional values, the health care delivery system, and the major theories that serve as the basis for professional nursing. In addition, students explore legal issues and role development issues influencing nursing practice. OUTCOMES: 2, 3, 6, 7 Open to RN-BSN, RN-MSN students only. Note(s) Admission to Nursing required.
