This course provides the criminal justice student with a broad understanding of the dynamics of the psychological and social implications associated with crime, violence, and criminal behavior. In addition, biological/genetic, psychological, and sociological theories of criminal behavior help to explain and exemplify topics in the area of aggression and violence, homicide and assault, juvenile delinquency, drugs and crimes, and sexual offenses.
