General Academic Plan - Associate’s Degree

General Academic Plan (A.A.) degree

The A.A. degree in liberal studies program consists of 61 semester hours. Students enrolled in the Women’s College are not eligible to enroll in the A.A. degree program.

General graduation requirements:

Students must:

1. Earn a cumulative GPA of 2.0
2. Satisfy a 15 hour (25%) residency requirement with Brenau. Experiential, challenge and CLEP credit do not count toward the residency requirement.
3. Successfully complete the 61 hours of required coursework for the A.A. Liberal Studies  or A.A. Early Childhood Education   coursework.

Note:  Students may not transfer into the A.A. program with more than 45 semester hours of usuable credit.
