General Academic Plan - Associate’s Degree

General Academic Plan (A.A.) degree

The A.A. degree in liberal studies consists of completing

and then either a general concentration or education concentration. Students may not transfer into the A.A. program with more than 45 semester hours of credit. The A.A. degree is available to Undergraduate School students. Students enrolled in the Women’s College and the Early College Program and not eligible to enroll in the A.A. degree program.

General graduation requirements:

Students must:

Earn a cumulative GPA of 2.0
Satisfy a 15 hour residency requirement with Brenau. Experiential, challenge and CLEP credit do not count toward the residency requirement.
Successfully complete the 61 hours of required coursework for the A.A. program coursework.

Note: Hours earned for developmental courses taken at Brenau do not count toward graduation requirements.
