An introduction to the various materials and processes that shape Earth’s surface. Topics include rocks and minerals, weathering and erosion, soil classification, plate tectonics, volcanism, methods of relative and numerical geological dating, and the ocean floor. This course has an online laboratory component. Prerequisite(s): PS 104
