Overview of the basic economic principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics; including supply and demand, market structure; economic role of the government; cost structure of firms, factors of production; measures of aggregate economic performance; monetary and fiscal policies. In addition, basic mathematics needed to analyze an economy; including elasticity, measures of central tendency and dispersion; hypothesis testing; probability distributions; time series analysis, statistical inference; and regression.
