Designated for Biology Major students who are biology majors. Introduces the following basic biological principles and concepts: evolution of plants, plant anatomy and reproduction, evolution of animals, animal anatomy and physiology with an emphasis on human organ systems, and ecology. Focuses on the details of the biological material in preparation for upper level courses in biology. Term paper and oral presentation required. Laboratory Mandatory. Prerequisite(s): BY 111 (111H)
