Designated for students who are in the Honors Program. Introduces the following basic biological principles and concepts: evolution of plants, plant anatomy and reproduction, evolution of animals, animal anatomy and physiology with an emphasis on human organ systems, and ecology. Focuses on expanding the basic biological material to include the impact of that knowledge on society and the students’ future lives. Term paper and oral presentation required. Laboratory Mandatory.
