GR 307 - Graphic Design History *(3) A course that chronicles the evolution of graphic design. The goal is to discover the design principles governing style in design, art & photography throughout history. The invention of writing, the manuscript, the graphic renaissance in Europe, the industrial age, the modernist era, the information age and the digital revolution are explored. Students will also complete one full design assignment that projects a decisive movement or concept form design history.
