CY 110L - Forensic Science Lab *

This chemistry laboratory course introduces scientific techniques and principles used in the investigation of crime with a particular emphasis on analyzing physical evidence. As in any science, the laboratory will allow students hands-on experience with lecture topics that promote understanding of the steps and procedures of forensic techniques. This laboratory is optional for those with strong science backgrounds and interests. If students wish laboratory credit, the lab must be taken concurrently w/CY 110. Students do not have the option of taking laboratory at a later date.
