This course focuses on providing health care for women from their reproductive years through menopause. It includes strategies for health promotion, prevention, and illness, as well as assessment, diagnosis and management of health problems commonly experienced by women. Specific content includes, preconception planning, obstetrics, gynaechologic care, screening based on age and risk factors, cancer affecting women, family planning, management of menopause symptoms and disorders.
