This course examines the strategic relationship between project management and the rest of the organization. The Project Management Office (PMO) is the functional department created to manage a large number of projects for the long-term benefit of the organization. Course examines strategic issues surrounding allocating resources, developing policies and systems needed to implement a large number of projects and assuring projects achieve stated goals.
