The College of Business & Mass Communication includes the following departments: Business Administration  and Mass Communication .

Dr. William Lightfoot, dean

Mission:  The College of Business & Mass Communications aspires to prepare students to be successful professionally by grounding them in contemporary knowledge. Building on this foundation, with an emphasis on critical thinking and well developed communication skills the successful student will manifest global awareness, sensitivity to cultural diversity, strong professional ethics and demeanor.

Undergraduate Information

Transfer Student Policies  Students transferring to Brenau from other institutions will receive an evaluation of coursework upon admission to the university. See University transfer credit policy for details.

Graduation Requirements  Students are urged to review the required institutional graduation requirements described under the Academic Information and Programs-Undergraduate  section of this Catalog as well as requirements within each department and major. Further, all majors are reminded that it is a graduation requirement to complete such standardized tests as may be administered by the department or the institution for purposes of program evaluation. Appropriate notice of dates and locations of testing will be given. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure all requirements are met for graduation.
 

Graduate Information

The College of Business & Mass Communication offers the M.B.A. degree. In addition, Brenau offers the M.S. degree in organizational leadership. Please see the Business Administration  department for additional information concerning graduate majors offered by that department.  Foundation level courses provide necessary background for M.B.A. students whose undergraduate degree is not in business.

Double Majors:

The College of Business permits a double major within it’s M.B.A. programs. Students receive one degree and must complete both major concentrations before the degree can be awarded.
