The reading endorsement for classroom teachers program is embedded within the early childhood and middle grades masters programs. A candidate may choose two of the five courses for their language arts requirement and two for their electives. The fifth course, noted below (**), must be taken as an addition to the master’s program. The candidate must declare their intent for the reading endorsement when they begin their master’s program and have a clear understanding of the requirements.
