This program of study is intended for students who have earned a graduate degree at an accredited institution. Accounting certificate students must meet all course prerequisites.
Note: Courses for the chosen concentration (below) cannot be taken from another concentration or degree. If a student took a concentration course previously, an approved substitution must be taken to complete the concentration.

Accounting Concentration Choices
Choose one of the following accounting concentrations. Managerial Accounting
This program is designed to graduate professionals to work in various managerial accounting and related fields and also provides students the opportunity to take additional coursework required for certification exams. Graduate level accounting courses may require undergraduate accounting prerequisites to have been completed; the specific prerequisites required will depend on the graduate accounting courses selected.
Accounting Prerequisite Courses-Managerial Accounting
Accounting Certificate students choosing a managerial accounting concentration must meet all course prerequisites through the following courses.
Management Accounting Required Certificate Courses
Courses are listed in suggested order taken. Public Accounting
This program is designed to graduate professionals to work in various public accounting and related fields and also provides students the opportunity to take additional coursework required for certification exams. Graduate level accounting courses may require undergraduate accounting prerequisites to have been completed; the specific prerequisites required will depend on the graduate accounting courses selected.
