Note: if the student does not complete ED 890C Applied Research III, an IP grade will be awarded. The student must then take ED 890D Applied Research IV each semester until the research requirement is complete.

• ED 870 - Education Issues and Policy
• ED 886 - Introduction to Problem Based Learning I
• ED 887 - Introduction to Problem Based Learning II
• ►   ED 890A - Applied Research I
• ►   ED 890B - Applied Research II
• ►   ED 890C - Applied Research III   Note: If the student does not complete ED 890C , an IP grade will be awarded. The student must then re-take ED 890C each semester until the research requirement is complete.

Middle Grades Concentration

Participants in the middle grades major will have two areas of concentration. The Ed.S. is presented in the combinations of math/science and language arts/social studies.

A total of 15 semester hours is required for the concentration.
