Family Nurse Practitioner (M.S.N.)

The Family Nurse Practitioner major is designed to prepare students to receive national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and receive state licensure as an advanced practice nurse. As an FNP, the graduate of this program of study will be qualified to be the healthcare provider for families and individuals of all ages. The graduate will be prepared to practice in a variety of primary health care settings and become a vital force in making quality healthcare available to all people.
Students take two courses each semester over eight semesters, including two summer semesters.
