M.B.A. Foundation Courses (10 hours)

Any M.B.A. candidate who has not successfully achieved a thorough preparation in the basic disciplines of business through completion of the four foundation areas listed below (or their equivalents) with a grade of “C” or better from a regionally accredited institution within the last 7 years. These courses may be taken for credit or the student may attempt a waiver exam for BA 510, BA 511, or BA 512 if coursework was completed prior to 7 years ago.

IMPORTANT: A student may take no more than 9 graduate credit hours in the M.B.A. program prior to completion of the foundation course requirement.

• BA 511 - Survey of Economics and Statistics
• BA 512 - Introduction to Finance

• ♦ The elective should be 600 level or higher and have a prefix of BA/HR/MG/MK/OL or PM.

Insurance Concentration

CPCU Certification includes six hours of experiential credit.
