In this supervised, specialized applied research project for advanced HRM majors, learners investigate problems in the work environment requiring the student to use approved scientific methodology. This is the capstone course in the HRM curriculum. This project allows learners to use the skills and knowledge from their previous courses in analyzing and contributing to the host organization and gain further experience. The choice of one of two options (Field Experience or Applied Project) will depend upon the learner’s professional development needs, access to data, and professional experience.
