This course provides an overview of the field of logistics including it’s nature, capacity, and method, including logistics management functions and the interrelationships among strategic support and operational logistics. Students gain a basic understanding of how companies achieve a competitive advantage through supply chain and logistics management, logistics theories and concepts, customer service, third-party logistics, manufacturing and operations management in the business environments. Prerequisite(s): BA 303, BA 470
