AR 206 - Sculpture I (4) This is a beginning course in sculpture which introduces students to various approaches to shaping form and space. The elements of three-dimensional design are emphasized in solving assigned problems. Students are taught techniques in modeling, carving, assemblage, and basic mold-making and casting processes. Students are also introduced to significant works by sculptors of current and historical interest.
