This course focuses on the role, implementation, and uses of assessment in the K12 classroom. Teacher candidates will develop content knowledge of assessment methods and scoring tools through exploration of formative and summative assessment measures. Current standardized assessment protocol and effective feedback are also a focus of this course. Emphasis is on the analysis of assessment data to drive instructional decisions.
