ED 413 - Literacy Methodology for Elementary Education (3) This course provides the necessary skills and competencies in assessing, planning, and teaching literacy, including content area literacy. Data-driven literacy instruction based on evidence-based instructional approaches and reading research will be emphasized. This is a placement embedded course; a 48-hour field experience placement in a regionally accredited school is required during the course. Prerequisite(s): Admission to TE, ED 311 or ED 321; ED 345 and ED 347 Note(s) Permission from the Clinical Experience Office is required to register.
