This course examines the human phenomenon of religion in its primary forms of expression throughout the world. Religions examined include the following; Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and religions of primal communities. Attention will also be devoted to the special issues of religion in contemporary culture to include religious beliefs practices one might encounter in a global society.
