This course includes all the “basics” of entrepreneurship including development, idea generation, business plan, marketing, financing, launch, pivot, growth, and exit. Throughout the semester we will explore, critique, assess, and examine the concept of entrepreneurship. We will also discover that the mindset and spirit of entrepreneurship (as well as intrapreneurship) can be applied in an individual venture, partnership, small business, or a large organizational structure. Entrepreneurship will be embarked upon as a way of thinking and acting, as well as an attitude and behavior. Our emphasis is on entrepreneurship as a process that can be applied as a stand-alone opportunity or one that can be applied in practically any organizational setting as an Intrapreneur.
