The purpose of this course is to facilitate learners’ development of grammatical competence at the beginner level. The focus of the course will be on learning about and acquiring the basic structures of the English language and how specific grammatical functions can facilitate effective communication. Learners will use simple structures in communication through the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
