Family Nurse Practitioner (M.S.N.)

The Family Nurse Practitioner major is designed to prepare students to receive national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and receive state licensure as an advanced practice nurse. As an FNP, the graduate of this program of study will be qualified to be a healthcare provider for families and individuals of all ages. The graduate will be prepared to practice in a variety of primary healthcare settings and become a vital force in making quality healthcare available to all people.
Students take two courses each semester over eight semesters, including two summer semesters.
