Utilizing the Brenau University Department of Nursing Philosophy, theories of ethics, and standards of professional practice, this course introduces students to the process of ethical decision-making in diverse healthcare situations. Based on professional values, therapeutic communication, legal considerations, and understanding of culture and diversity, students learn to interact with individuals and groups to provide culturally appropriate care.
