This course provides the nurse practitioner student with theoretical and practical knowledge of growth and development, health promotion, and common health problems of children from birth through college age. The student applies the content to develop the diagnosis and management of child health issues. Integration of culture, environment, and epidemiology are considered in the optimal outcomes for the child and family unit. Prerequisite(s): NG 707, NG 711
