SE 410 - Learners with Mild Disabilities (3) The course includes a comprehensive lifespan overview of the learning, social, emotional and physical characteristics of persons with mild disabilities. Teaching practices and strategies for inclusive education along with behavior management and social skills are introduced. History, legislation, early intervention, family involvement and community responses are included. This is a placement embedded course; a 48-hour field experience placement is required during the course. Prerequisite(s): SE 300 Note(s) Permission from the Clinical Experience Office is required to register.
