Overview of occupational science and occupational therapy profession including history, professional organizations, professional ethics, and scope of practice. Introduction to professional language and the occupational therapy process. Exploration and application of occupations across the life course along with core occupational therapy theories and practices. Development of skills in clinical reasoning, documentation, communication, and analysis of activities and occupations. Prerequisite(s): AY 101 or SY 101 or PY 101
