The third of four courses in exploring the patient communications, social, regulatory, ethical and professional aspects of becoming a physician assistant. This semester focuses on health care delivery systems, health policy, the role of the public health system, the role of health care providers in the prevention of disease and maintenance of population health, and participation in disease surveillance, reporting and intervention.
