Emphasis will be on providing comprehensive behavioral and mental health care, including acute, chronic, urgent, emergent and preventive care. While on this rotation, the student will learn to perform a competent screening interview and examination of a behavioral and mental health patient, including complete mental status examination, in order to identify psychiatric symptoms and make a differential diagnosis.
