MS 240 - Discrete Mathematics (3) This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of discrete mathematics. This course examines the structure and properties of finite sets. Topics include fundamentals (basic tools for discrete math), logic, methods of proof, graphs, set theory and set equations, Boolean algebra, induction proof and recursion relations, combinatorial methods, counting, probability, and number bases. Prerequisite(s): MS 101
