OL 486 - Internship/Practicum/Research (3) This is an internship/practicum/research course designed to explore, critique, assess, and examine the concept of the student’s desired career in a real-world hands-on manner or through comprehensive research. The primary goal of this course is to allow students to experience industry through the lens of those in their profession who may serve as a mentor, role model, or one in their professional network. The course includes reading and writing assignments, experiential learning, and first-hand exposure. It is through planned interviews, readings, discussions, and a final presentation that each student will achieve a broad scope of experience. Prerequisite(s): MG 318
