This is a one credit course which serves as the first of a three-course series integrating advanced research and statistics skills as well as introducing the dissertation process. This course includes a comprehensive review of threats internal, external, construct, and statistical conclusion validity, reliability and validity of assessment measures, descriptive statistics, and background for inferential statistics. In addition, the course will introduce the steps in the dissertation process, and students will begin to investigate possible topics and dissertation chairs.
