PY 999 - APA Clinical Psychology Doctoral Internship (3) PY 999 Clinical Psychology Doctoral Internship is a full year internship class which is completed over the course of three (3) semesters, with three (3) credits per semester for a total of (9) credits. All doctoral students in the Clinical Psychology program will enroll in PY 999 and participate in the Association of Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) match program. This program will assign students to a year-long full-time internship (or a two year half-time internship) in which a minimum of 2000 hours must be completed. Internship facility sites may be located within the state of Georgia or other APPIC approved sites in the United States or Canada. The Clinical Psychology Doctoral Internship Program is based on a scientist-practitioner model, emphasizing the ways in which clinical practice and research inform and complement one another. It is designed for individuals who wish to pursue careers in clinical practice, teaching and research. Prerequisite(s): PY 936 Note(s) This class is taught pass/fail.
