PY 821 - Integrated Primary Healthcare (3) Addressing modern health issues often involves behavioral change. As a result, primary care is a growing area of practice for psychologists. In this course students will examine the practice of behavioral medicine. Students will develop their skills in working in interdisciplinary settings with a focus on professional communication skills. They will also explore barriers to
healthcare and outcomes that result from social and cultural conditions. Students will practice their skills in interdisciplinary field experience.
