This course provides a study of the factors and influences that have affected the development of the curriculum structure at the higher education level. Research-based procedures for designing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum will be examined. In addition, trends, issues, problems, and variations in higher education programs are studied. Students will learn about the interrelationships among curriculum, instruction, and assessment; will be presented with best practices; and will learn how data-driven decision making can lead to improved student outcomes. This course is only open to Ed.D. Higher Education majors.
