BA 724 - Financial Accounting (3) This course introduces the basic accounting concepts and applications needed by management to understand and use financial information to make relevant and appropriate decisions. Topics include the overview of financial management and financial environment, financial statements, analysis of financial statement, performance measurement analysis, time value of money, risk and return analysis, security valuation, role of capital budgeting in achieving the goals of the organization, and cash flows estimation. This is an online course that does not require face- to-face meetings. Prerequisite(s): BA 508, BA 514
