This course is designed to introduce entry-level nursing students to the profession of nursing, as well as th eprocess of nursing education. Students will be introduced to such topics as nursing theory, clinical judgement, ethical decision-making, and legal considerations in healthcare while promoting an understanding of diversity and culturally sensitive care. Students will haev the opportunity to explore campus resources and various strategies for success that they can utilize throughout their tenure as nursing students.
