The completion of the requirements for the M.A.T. will result in certification at the secondary level (Grades 6-12). The majors which will be considered for Brenau’s M.A.T. are biology, chemistry, English, history or related social science, mathematics, and physics (P-12). In addition to all the course requirements, students must pass the Teaching Field Content Exams for academic content area (GACE) prior to student teaching or internship.
